The Dorothee Schumacher Spring/Summer 2016 show had the perfect spring feeling with light natural colors combined with floral prints, off the shoulder details, raw edges and lace up details at front. I really like the material combinations with the delicate silk together with the more deconstructed linen created a great contrast, which added a modern vibe to the collection.

I was wearing one of my favorite pieces from the Fall/Winter collection – the black suede coat with the wide waist-belt.

Last night we had an amazing intimate dinner with the Dorothee Schumacher team at Crackers. It was such a great and cozy night with a lot of delicious food. I went for a tonal red look in light materials spiced up with some golden details. I’m looking so much forward to seeing the show later today – stay tuned for updates..

Earlier this week during men’s fashion week in Milan, Gucci showed a sneak-peak of the women’s collection, which will be showcased in September.

I have been dying to see, what would come next after Michele´s first and more romantic outcome for Fall 15. The masculine part was definitely defined by details that were eccentric old-ladyish. And for the female looks it was all about young girls dressed in their grandma’s outfit in an up-to-date fashion way. There were a lot of granny-ish details like ruffled collars, printed silk-coats and lace pj’s , oversized glasses, knitted hats and elegant slippers. Can’t wait to see the full collection this fall.

Hooked on fringes?

During Paris fashion week I decided to get out of my “denim – comfort zone” and flashed some legs and some fringes. I found this great skirt in H&M and thought it would be perfect for a shoot – it ended up being a scoop, that I’m gonna keep in my wardrobe. To balance the look I choose to combine the fringes with a more layered and simple items like a roll neck together with a thin V-knit – additionally to make it even more casual I paired it with a leatherjacket and Superga’s. I like the contrast, which makes the skirt very versatile.

If you are hooked on the fringes and wanna know how to style it? Then check out this styling video I did for Fashion Post here
