Luckily I manage to squeeze in an hour to see this incredible exhibition the I arrived to London – it is the first and largest retrospective of the designer’s work that have already had a great impact on fashion since and before McQueen’s death in 2010. Alexander McQueen had this gift to promote freedom of thought and expression through his designs. His methods of cutting and construction have been innovative and revolutionary, which you can see perfectly from his first years through to his latest collection, Plato’s Atlantis from 2010.
The exhibition is for sure a must-see, if you are planning a trip to London before August 2nd - Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty at V&A museum London.
If you ever had bangs you know that period, when it’s to short to bring to the sides and to long to have as bangs. I woke up this morning looking like a hair-monster – luckily I have a date with my always on point hairdresser, Mie Harritz. But the BIG question is – should I keep the bangs or grow it out? Your guys opinion means a lot!
Well it’s actually not that new anymore as I bought this stunning line clutch from Loewe, when I was in Paris for fashion week – just didn’t share it with you guys. As you know I’m a huge fan of Jonathan Anderson’s work for Loewe, so after spending hours in the store I decided to go for this more timeless and minimalistic clutch from him – I love the golden logo detail together with the toned down linen material.
