I teamed up with Isabel Marant yesterday for an extraordinary night of shopping in the beautiful store in Copenhagen – A big thanks to all of you who came and to the great team from Isabel Marant.

I was wearing one of my favourite knit’s from the fall collection – I hooked on the sailor stripes and details – together with a suede high-wasted skirt and booties – all available in store now.

PIECES & PLACES

Today a new station of high-end close will open in Copenhagen called Gare du Robe. My dear friends from MN Retail are the team behind this new shop concept. By combining old and new styles in an absolute high-end category, Gare du Robe will be a boutique full of earlier collections from Isabel Marant, Marc Jacobs and Stella McCartney combined with luxurious vintage items, which you from tomorrow can drop of in the store. Additionally, there will be a separate Månestråle department in the store, where you can get your hands on the softest cashmere and merino knits. I cannot wait to get a trip down the memory lane of the old collections.

BEAUTY ESSENTIAL

I brought this great oil with me when I was on vacation in South of France. I’m a huge fan of the beauty elixir from Caudalíe, so when I heard about this dry oil I had to try it out.  It can be used to both body, face and hair – I think it is ideal with a product that is “multi functional” , especially when your travelling all the time and often overpack like I do. The oil is a blend of grapeseed, hibiscus, sesame, and argan oils that leaves the skin with a healthy glow, which is much needed after a day in the sun.

MY TRAVEL JOURNAL

I’ve been homebound for a while, so if you’re, like me, spending your weekend in Copenhagen, then stop by Copenhagen Art Week and Chart Art Fair. This weekend and coming week the city will be filled with art experiences of all kind. I visited one of them last night, the Chart Art Fair. With a focus on contemporary art, Chart Art Fair is a fair that have gathered 28 of the most interesting northern galleries at Kunsthal Charlottenborg, displaying large-scale projects and installations, both inside and outside. One of my favorites was Windows by Ugo Rondinone. During the weekend the fair also features a great range of talks and performances.

Last night I was attending the annual charity event Giv syn til Tanzania hosted by Louis Nielsen at D’Angleterre. For you guys who have never heard about this charity, shortly it is about donating your old glasses for people who cannot afford it – but read much more about it here. Last night the new ambassador for Giv Syn til Tanzania was found among the four finalists. I have been a mentor for the four, and helped them styling their outfits for the glasses look campaign pictures.
