PIECES & PLACES

MarkTan_OritElhanati

Today I’m kick starting fashion month with Copenhagen Fashion Week, and I cannot wait to see the new collections from some of my favorite Scandinavians. It is worth mentioning that my dear friend and jewelry designer, Orit Elhanati has teamed up with Mark Tan with a jewelry collection that will be awakened during his fashion show tomorrow. The collection is called Stranger and is a series of jewelries with a dramatic, mysterious and textural shape. Orit is known for her playful decadent jewelries with inspiration from nature’s underground treasures.

LA TOUCHDOWN

Even a couple of days with sun makes the trick, when coming from the freezing cold weather in Copenhagen – 3 days in LA was such a energy booster and amazing to be able to wear some of my favourite pieces for spring – see my Fashion Director choice now on the You Way – here!

BEAUTY ESSENTIAL

I recently heard about this serum that protects the skin with an invisible SPF 30 shield and at the same time works anti-agin. I’ve used it every morning, while being in sunny LA – I really like that it first of all is multi-functional and secondly that it super light and easily blends in with my moisturiser.

TRAVEL JOURNAL

We ended our Tulum adventure at this amazing place called Coqui Coqui. It is picture perfect with only 6 rooms kept in the Tulum laissez faires style. You might have to change rooms or they won’t bring you the fan you asked, but it’s still the best place to stay in Tulum. We stayed in the most romantic water-facing terrace suite, where you wake up to the sound of the sea breeze and private balcony with a daybed and two chairs. The cafe is casual and cosy serving the best green juices and banana shakes. There is also a spa and mini boutique selling the Coqui Coqui perfumes and a range of clothing and accessories.

WEEKLY OBSESSION

Ready for a new season and a new way of wearing my favorite material; denim. Go for the Chloé look with raw edges and lots of volume or make a lighter and more sophisticated outfit with the asymmetrical midi-skirt, the crisp white shirt and a pair of plateau sandals.

Shirt from H&M, Jeans from Marni, Skirt from  Acne Studios, Jacket from Marques Almeida, Bag from Saint Laurent, Plateau sandals from Jimmy Choo,
