WEEKLY OBSESSION

Pernille Teisbaek Weekly Obsession

Soft and dreamy hues are a biggie this season – the light colors and fluffy materials are perfect matches. I’m dreaming of mixing the neutral shades and silhouettes in a layering summer look (if the weather allows it anytime soon!). If you’re not game for the tonal look, you can easily wear the color as a spring statement together with your wardrobe staples.

SPOTTING THE DETAIL

A neutral linen shirt is a must in every wardrobe – Jonathan Anderson for Loewe added a fresh twist to this wardrobe staple just with a knotted hem at the left side. I love that he added a new detail on something  extremely classic, that we all can do with our old shirts to give it a quick update.

The danish brand Aiayu are famous for their high quality knitwear collections in sustainable Llama wool.  I recently discovered that they also carry a home-wear line with everything from knitted pillowcases to bedspreads. I’m hooked on this bed linen in 100& organic cotton, which is  social certified - it’s purely natural colors. Sweet dreams!

One of my favorite photographers is the british legend, Mark Borthwich. His photos has often sculptural elements in it, but in a crisp and very minimal way  - for me it’s almost like art. Besides incredible portraits of Kate Moss or Stella Tenant, Fashion story’s for Vogue and Purple etc, I really like his own books of artwork like “not in fashion”.  Here is a little selection that inspires me!
