SAND SS16 PREVIEW

Earlier today I went for a sneak peak of the new Sand Spring/Summer 2016 collection. There was some really great tailored pieces that easily could go for wardrobe stables – especially the black blazer with the golden buttons together with the wide legged pants. I really liked the modern monochrome take on this collection, which makes it easy to be mixed and matched for any occasion. The polo-dress and broderie anglaise tunic-dress are ultimate summer must haves for next spring.

I really like the contrast effect in this fashion story between the feminine styling and the masculine aesthetics. It makes all the details pop even more and works perfectly together with Daria Werbowy’s natural tomboy look. It makes me think twice next time I’m getting back into my “work clothing”, that usually doesn’t include a dress and boots.

BEAUTY ESSENTIAL

I recently got recommended to try this amazing juice cleanse to kickstart the body after the summer holiday. What I like about the concept of this cleanser is that the juice is cold pressed and purely made from organic mainly vegetables and a little fruit – supplemented by lots of water, hydrating coconut water and herbal the. You get the full effect from the cleansing after 3 days, where you feel more refreshed and energized. One of the best tips I got after trying this was to start out the day with the juice from a half pressed lemon in a glass of water – it immediately hydrates your body and makes you feel more balanced.

MY TRAVEL JOURNAL

Need a break from the buzzing city?

My travel Journal Ystad Salsjøbad

Approximately 1,5 hours from Copenhagen in the very south of Sweden, you’ll find this amazing award-winning spa-hotel, Ystad Saltsjöbad. The modern New-Port inspired hotel is a deluxe hotel with an amazing spa area with the most beautiful sea-side view. I treated myself with a great massage and a lot of relaxation in the thermal bath, having an afternoon glass of rosé in the outside area. (Tip! Book your treatment before your stay, because it is pretty busy.) The food was served in Restaurant Port, a Swedish-American seafood restaurant, where you had your dinner looking over the bay. This was a perfect place to go for a weekend getaway, doing nothing else, but relaxing and spoil yourself!
