The pretty in punk seems to be one of this seasons dark romances that even the most floral girl wont be able to avoid. The British punk has gone Parisienne with a slight more pastels added and a little less ripped pieces. Wear the leather jacket with a knitted detail skirt and go for a pair of comfy black boots for an updated dark look.
The scene was set when Dorothee Schumacher showed her Fall/Winter 2016 collection yesterday in Berlin. The collection had the perfect authentic 70s feeling combining tradition with a predilection for liberty prints in a graphic symbiosis. The collection is called Limitless Identity and you for sure get the feeling that there are no limits to where this collection will take you, from fluid flowing dresses, skater gear details and elegant monochrome jumpsuits. My favorite was the cool overall look in light beige.
At the cocktail Tuesday night, I was wearing one of my favorite looks from the Spring/Summer 2016 collection and for the show a pair of wide legged pants together with a red knit with the back detail.
These stunners are almost like a piece of art – I love the mix of the 3 different materials in gold bicoloured brass and enamelled. The organic oversized shape makes them slightly more casual even though they are pretty eye-catching, which creates a great contrast.
A few years ago I invested in a pleated silk skirt that is one of my favourite items in my summer wardrobe. So I’ve tried to find something similar for winter and found this one in a thin knitted material. I really like the shimmering effect that creates the perfect contrast to a casual sweatshirt and sneakers for everyday use! Remember to check out Anine and Sofi for their picks.
