Zac Posen is famous for his eye catching red carpet dresses that he this time nailed in a much more “low-key” way.  The long silhouettes had a soft and breezy feeling in light materials. The craftsmanship and materials was so delicate – it worked perfectly together with the hair that individually was styled by Moroccanoil to match each model – everything from natural curls to a slick smooth ponytail. I like the idea of creating a look that enhances the models individual beauty instead of making them all look alike. These two favourite looks from the collection clearly feature that statement and make me wish I had those soft curls.

As you know I always stay at Soho Grand when I’m in New York – my home away from home. Everything from the location, the rooms to the best breakfast with organic green juices makes it perfect. I thought I knew every corner of this hotel until I surprisingly found this new secret spot in their outside area called Gilligan’s.  I was about to lent one of their cute bikes that is beautifully displayed in front of the main-entrance, when I saw this red sign. It is a super cute mexican bar that serves the best watermelon margaritas. The vibe is chilled and super cosy decorated with string light hanging from the trees  and palmtress everywhere. They serve small snacks plates like Grilled corn, Fried calamari or Tuna crudo with avocado – the last one is my favourite. A perfect little quiet place to go on a summer night like it’s been the past week in busy New York.

I bought this perfect little piece of J.W.Anderson on sale a while ago and was finally able to wear it – the amazing weather in New York made it happen! Gotta love all the small details like the side-pockets, asymmetric cuts and button closure.

Dress from J.W.Anderson, Shoes from Céline, Bag from Loewe, Sunglasses from RayBan.

The “in between seasons weather” is here and I’m ready to make the most of it. Teaming the A-line skirt with a chunky knit and a shirt underneath paired with some suede loafers worn with socks in it, seems like the perfect idea. The look will work for a weather situation that is not quite fall yet and not warm enough to still be defined as summer!

Knit from Isabel Marant, Shirt from Zara, A-line skirt from Acne Studios, Loafers from Gucci, Socks from Antipast at Holly Golightly, Ring from Line & Jo, Bag from Gucci,
