It’s all about the details in this minimalistic styled fashion story from Vogue Italia. The amazing Céline shoes and earrings adds the perfect contrast to these monochrome looks – the silhouettes are so classic, but with a modern twist – good inspiration on how to style some of these wardrobe stables.

MY BEAUTY ESSENTIAL

I’ve always liked the tousled beach-hair look, which I naturally get from a dip in the sea somewhere much warmer then here in Denmark.  My hair is really fine and straight, so I’ve tried so many products through out the past years that adds  some volume and structure in a natural way – so I had to try out this Elderflower Salt Spray.  I like that it adds moisture to the hair plus a matt finish – on the other hand it gives a slightly softer hold, then the “real-deal”, but I’m still hooked.

MY TRAVEL JOURNAL

My favorite go-to place all year around is my family’s summerhouse – I always get so relaxed and grounded. Last time I was there my mother recommended me to check out a new store called Lokalkompagniet – they only sell organic groceries, juices, vines, jam and handmade china sets in cute pastel colors. Everything is made from farmers and artist in the local area of Odsherred, which I think is such an amazing way to support and develop the community. The interior- concept is all made from recycling materials – also from the local area. It’s really a place to go and check out if you are around that area – plus they serve a great cappuccino and organic cake!

WEEKLY OBSESSION

I’m not sure if you can say that this is a new trend, but the non-gender fashion is becoming increasingly relevant – and in particular that women are responding more to traditionally masculine clothing’s. From men with wigs, over David Bowie to Diane Keaton as Annie Hall in the 1970es, fashion has long played with the gender boundaries. But this coming season a gender-neutral fashion appears – the new trend will be much less of men in skirts, but more about men and women sharing.

LIGHT LAYERS

A light layered look is perfect for this time of year, where it is slightly more cold in the morning then in the afternoon – mix and match thin materials as silk, linen and cotton!
